You can then safely delete the leftover bits in the Downloads folder. What you should find is you have an extracted copy of the Studio 2.0 folder in your Downloads folder that you can move into your System Applications folder. like before but this time with the command tar xzvf ~/Downloads/Studio_2.0.pkg/Payload.Full MIDI control and automation support, MIDI. xar -exclude Resources/ -xf ~/Downloads/Studio+2.0.pkg -C ~/Downloads/ Blue Cat Audio Standards: Available as a standalone application and in most plug-in formats for Mac and Windows. copy and paste this command into the terminal and press enter.Launch the Terminal app, you can find it in Utilities inside the system Application folder. If you don’t have it, download a copy of 2.2.3 into your Downloads folder. You could try the following to potentially work around that message. The only trouble I had was this app version wasn’t signed so when I launched it macOS thought it looked fishy but it would run. I downloaded a fresh copy of 2.2.3 and it was happy to install without issue for me. ![]() So it looks like the error you’re seeing is because of the age of macOS on your Mac. I would have just walked away if the download page had said it requires 10.13 and not 10.9! :) ![]() Its an unfortunate coincidence its from the versions that I can run!! :) Maybe the older downloads are corrupted somehow. Interestingly I get the same message when I try and downloaded 2.2.2 but not when I download 2.2.4 which I can install but unsurprisingly won't run as it requires 10.13. I did change the setting in Security & Privacy to allow apps from anywhere to open although there was no prompt there to say the application had been blocked as there usually is so I wasn't hopeful that changing that setting would do anything. I have downloaded it twice now and no change. Get a new copy of the package and try again. The package may have been corrupted or tampered with. Studio+2.0.pkg cant be installed because its digital signature is invalid. Thank you for the kind offer.Įdit: Downloaded version 2.2.3_1 from March 21 and I get the message: I will reach out if I need to change the plist for the current version. Its strange the page advises the incorrect minimum requirement. I saw the changelog but didn't appreciate that you could download the version linked to it. ![]()
